Only whites need apply?

If you’re a white South African the doors to America are wide open.
A chartered jet with 59 white South Africans arrived in the United States are refugees.
On the other hand, if you are an Afghan who helped the U.S. military during its fighting in that country and whose life is in danger from the Taliban, you’re not wanted.
In carving out his exception to allowing refugees in or to stay here. President Donald Trump said this country had “essentially extended citizenship” to these Afrikaners because they were victims of a genocide.
These South Africans claim they have been discriminated against, denied job opportunities and have been subject to violence because of their race. Unfortunately, they apparently haven’t been able to provide specifics.
Trump said, “Farmers are being killed. They happen to be white. Whether they are white or black makes no difference to me. White farmers are being brutally killed, and their land is being confiscated in South Africa.”
I wonder if black South African farmers qualify for refugee status?
Anyway, South African police say that from April 2020 to March 2024, 225 people were killed on farms: 101 were current or former workers living on farms, who are mostly black. Fifty-three of the victims were farmers, who are usually white.
Fake news I guess.
Who isn’t being let in are Afghans who helped U.S. soldiers during the war in Afghanistan and Congolese citizens who had already been vetted and cleared to travel before Trump took office. Reportedly, about 10,000 refugees had gone through security clearances and had plane tickets when Trump took office on January 20.
Trump essentially halted refugee admission programs on his first day in office before deciding that Afrikaners deserved special attention. It took them less than three months to get refugee status and come to the United States. Others need years to move through the system. And with Trump in office, their applications are not moving at all.
When Trump said the United States had “essentially extended citizenship,” does that mean he wants them to be able to vote in the next election?
And are these new refugees going to be settled in predominantly white areas? I guess we wouldn’t want to inflict these poor refugees with having to deal with other races.
That is just too woke.
