In Trump World ...

In Trump World, a jury verdict that is one you like shows the justice system works well, it is fair and doing the right thing.

When a jury verdict is one you don’t like, then the justice system is rigged and unfair.

When Hunter Biden was indicted for owning a gun in violation of federal law, the justice system worked. He’s the son of Democrat President Joe Biden.

When Congressman George Santos was found not guilty, that was justice. Of course, the Republicans threw him out of Congress anyway because he had become such a political liability because of all his lies.

There are many more examples, but you get the point.

And when Donald Trump was convicted of 43 felony counts for paying to hide his affair with a porn star so it would not affect the 2016 presidential election that was an unfair trial with a biased judge and district attorney, a political hack job.

That was the jury’s verdict. But it was an unfair verdict because it did not fit the way Trump World is supposed to work. In that world, Trump can do no wrong. Anyone who says differently is biased and out to get him, the defender of America.

I guess I must have misunderstood the American justice system. It’s a system that has been called the worst in the world, except for all the others. It’s not perfect, but what makes it work is that it is right most of the time and does have checks and balances to try to reach a fair and just verdict.

Each side presents its case, the judge is the mediator, and the jury, the finder of fact. Appeals courts are there in case one or more errors were made in the trial.

That’s not the way it works in Trump World.

In Trump World, the only fair verdict is one which meets his and his fellow Republicans approval.

It’s the same as with the 2020 election. To this day, Trump and his Republican minions claim it was rigged. That despite the fact they have no evidence that will stand up in court.

In 2016, the election wasn’t rigged because Trump won. Before that election, he said the only way he could lose was if the election was rigged.

Ditto in 2020.

And it will be the same in 2024.

The Donald can do no wrong. The Donald is always right.
